Snowshoeing

We set the compass to the West and take route Nº 7, towards the mountains. The first Andean mountain range we will come across is called the Pre Mountain Range, and the snowy peaks to the west are part of the Cordillera Frontal, a different range. We shall drive through the Potrerillos valley which lies between these two ranges, and drive pass by Potrerillos Lake.
Depending on snow conditions we will face to Cordillera Frontal or to Cordillera del Límite, but always inmersed into the Cordillera de los Andes.
The trekking will start at 9100 fasl (2800 msnm) and reaching up as high as allowed by group's physical conditions.
Walk with snow shoes is very easy and fun. The view of the snowed Andes is fascinating for a day of exercise out in the nature.
A delicious picnic lunch will give us energy we need for the way down.
